Have you ever bought a fabric and loved it? You loved it so much that you wanted to purchase more. Then you go to buy more and realize that you can’t remember where you bought it from or who made it. ARGH!! This is so frustrating. I have absolutely been there! Because I run my own business, it is extremely important to keep track of my fabric inventory. I created this free fabric stash inventory printable and it changed my life! I use this fabric stash inventory to keep track of all of my fabric and can easily reorder an item when it is out of stock. Using this inventory system, even when I was sewing for fun would have been life changing. This post contains affiliate links.
How to use fabric stash inventory printable
As soon as you receive a new fabric or trim in the mail or buy from the store, cut a swatch and glue it to the fabric swatch square. Then, fill out all the information in the boxes. I use the notes section to write which projects I have made with this fabric. Next, I use a 3 hole punch and place the sheets in a binder. Viola! Done!
Another option that I love, is using disc binder rings. That way there is a 360 degree rotation without a starting or ending point. This way I can always access any material quickly.
