1. Cut a swatch as soon as a new fabric arrives — from the store or the mailbox.
2. Glue it to the fabric swatch square on the printable.
3. Fill in the details — supplier, colorway, width, price, and any project notes.
4. Punch and file it in a 3-ring binder, or use disc binder rings for 360° access with no start or end point.

I use the notes section to track which projects I’ve made with each fabric — so I can see at a glance what’s been used and what’s still waiting for the right project.
